what you are seeing is: abstract photography, using film, shot in multiple locations.
often times, john shoots a roll, tucks it away, and shoots over it months... years... later. he never take notes on the contents of the roll.
most of the work is multiple exposure and addresses themes of looking-up, day dreaming, and thinking... all works are uniquely adapted in a narrative style, either in a book format, or a series of printed images.
paul has been active in the independent publishing and artbook world since 2013, and co-founded endless editions, which is a publishing and curatorial project as a part of his artistic practice.
some books are in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Thomas J. Watson Library, the Museum of Modern Art Library, and many other institutions around the globe...
